Meet Tank Driver!

This is a Tank Driver.

Tank Driver is the human apprentice of one alien general Centrius O. Deligari. Centrius frequently kills him, bringing him back with runes provided by the ship's doctor, Nebby. Centrius never bothered asking for Jules' name, so he gives him the moniker Tank Driver. When Centrius first reveals his true form and powers to Tank, he sees the General as not just some strange alien, but an actual deity of war. He devotes himself to Centrius because he's like a god to him, because he offered him this new beginning and the opportunity to abandon a failure of a life, to become a new person. He's also in love with Centrius, who's his artistic muse.

Tank's training is varied to the point of almost seeming arbitrary to most people, in the sense that Centrius appears to enjoy calling everything some form of "[X] Training." There is the usual combat training, where Tank will literally be killed pretty much every session and then immediately be revived; espionage training (or as Centrius calls it, e-spinach training), where Centrius disguises himself in high profile events and Tank has to find and apprehend him before he himself is caught; hand-eye coordination training, which is just video games; as well as some others.
